Blocked gutters are one of those problems you don't notice until it rains hard and water's pouring over the edge or backing up under the roofline. I'm Mark, and I clean gutters across Nelson City, Stoke, Richmond and Tāhunanui, clearing out leaves, moss and built-up debris so water runs where it's supposed to, not into your roof cavity or down your walls.
A lot of the tree cover that makes Nelson properties so nice also means gutters fill up fast, especially through autumn. I get up there safely, clear everything out properly rather than just skimming the surface, and check the downpipes are actually flowing, not just that the gutter itself looks clear. It's a straightforward job, but a genuinely important one, a blocked gutter over winter can mean water finding its way into places you really don't want it.

Yes, clearing the gutter itself doesn't help much if the downpipe underneath is still blocked.
