Tree and hedge trimming
Trees and hedges that have got away can block light, overhang neighbouring properties, or just look untidy against an otherwise well-kept section.
Trees and hedges that have got away can block light, overhang neighbouring properties, or just look untidy against an otherwise well-kept section. I'm Mark, and I trim trees and hedges across Nelson City, Stoke, Richmond and Tāhunanui, shaping them back safely and tidying up the mess afterwards so the job doesn't just move the problem to your lawn.
Trimming safely takes care, especially anything above head height or near power lines, fences or driveways. I take the time to do it properly rather than rushing it, and I clean up thoroughly afterwards, not leaving a scattering of branches and leaves behind. Regular trimming also keeps trees and hedges healthier and more manageable long-term, rather than letting them get so overgrown that a bigger job (or a full removal) becomes the only option.

"Great experience dealing with Mark from Lawn in Order. Fast response, excellent comms and a great finish. Really impressed with the over-size apple tree they trimmed back. Also great clean up, very tidy."
Simon Gillard, Site Manager
"Mark is an honest hard working guy who always has the 'can do' attitude. He always goes above and beyond without being asked. I highly recommend him for water blasting, house washing, property maintenance, lawn mowing etc."
Dan Olberg
"Did a great job cleaning and re-staining our deck. Great workmanship at a reasonable price. Recommended."
It depends on the size of the tree or hedge and how easy it is to access. Send me a photo and I'll give you a free quote.
Yes, both, shaping hedges up and cutting back trees and overhanging branches.
It varies by species, but generally late winter to early spring works well for most trees and hedges, get in touch and I can advise for yours.
For a job like this, Mark likes to come take a look in person so you get an accurate price. Fill this in and he'll be in touch to arrange a time.
